Birth of a Legacy:
Carrying on a Legacy is not without sacrifice.
A legacy is born when God calls. It begins to whither as a young son’s heart hardens. Maturity births understanding which prepares the heart to hear when God calls.
Description Set in Colonial America among the Elm, Oak, and Buckeye timbers of the Ohio River Valley, German immigrant Josef Heinhurst endures what God lays before him. Despite the hardships, the farmer and pastor work his farmstead and establishes a congregation. As a shepherd to his people, Josef juggles a fragile balance between the pressing priorities of his church and family responsibilities. His only son Kristof’s feeling of neglect due to his father’s absence threatens Josef’s expectations for his son’s future.
In this prequel to the Providential Journey series, Josef establishes a sacrificial legacy that becomes a heritage of faith to future generations of the Heinhurst family.

Faith and Family is what America is about
Such a motivating tale of colonial life as it actually was. The author uses detailed imagery to show how Josef successfully assumes the position of the courageous community leader we are all supposed to be. Every page reveals the time period's actual authenticity. I'm eagerly anticipating the release of the Providential Journey series! How done, Bravo!
